Exactly 107 years ago, on November 3, 1911, an automotive manufacturer named Chevrolet was established in the United States (US). Chevrolet gives a different color to the automotive industry. Chevrolet came from the idea of two people namely Louis Chevrolet who is a Swiss racer with William C Durant, a businessman or founder of General Motors (GM).

The two men have hopes of encouraging the new automotive business. In 1913, Chevrolet managed to build its first car. Engineers and technicians from the manufacturer successfully developed the Classic C Series Six by spending 2,500 US dollars. The Chevy Bowtie, the Chevrolet logo shaped like a bow tie, was first introduced in 1914 by sticking to the H series and L series.

By 1916, Chevrolet had established itself as a successful automotive company with the production and sale of the 490 Series. This success allowed Durant to buy its stake in GM and merge Chevrolet into the GM Company as a separate division. Developing In 1919, Chevrolet introduced its first light truck built on a car chassis.

The logo of the Chevy began to be affixed to this inaugural model truck. The manufacturer, based in Detroit, Michigan, began developing its factories in various regions in the United States. Various truck models were also successfully developed by Chevrolet and started marketing their work to various parts of the world. The Corvette car carrying the first injection engine also appeared to meet customer demand with better engines in the 1950s.

Now, almost every continent there is this American car. Chevrolet made a big impact on the automotive industry. Easily recognizable by its sleek, modern design and gold bowtie emblem, Chevrolet is a carmaker more than a century old.
